Presbytery of Greenock and Paisley
Clerk: Rev Dr Peter McEnhill

Community Interests Comittee

Community Interests deals with those areas in which the church engages with the community both locally and nationally. As well as bringing forward issues on which it feels the Presbytery should be proactive, it also deals with matters referred from the General Assembly’s Board of Social Care and Church & Society Council. In addition the Committee is available to give support to two special projects within the Presbytery – the Inverclyde Family Contact Centre and the Paisley Christian Social Action Centre – as well as to give advice and support to any congregation(s) running or seeking to set up a centre.
