Community Interest Grants
Each year the Community Interests Committee makes recommendations to Presbytery about the allocation of small grants to groups in our Presbytery area that are engaged in Christian social outreach. Application forms below which should be return to the Convener, Miss Pamela Gordon before the deadline in May.
Mission Resources & Events
Application forms for each of the 2 funds which fall under the Mission and Discipleship Committee, namely the Smith-Lefevre, and Port Glasgow Newark Fund can be found here.
These are provided in PDF format, should folks wish to print the form and send a hard copy direct to the Presbytery Office.
Awards from the fund restricted to 50% of anticipated spend on the Mission Project applied for up to maximum of £7,500 per congregation. As more funds become available year on year the percentages could be flexed or maximum award increased.
Minimum award of £1,000 (meaning spend of £2,000 lowest level of application).
Consideration of applications will be undertaken by a small group of 4 /5 persons from Mission and Discipleship and Stewardship and Finance. Possibility of one individual from outwith both committees. Applications will be reviewed by this group and with an award recommendation forwarded for consideration by the Stewardship and Finance Committee for submission to Presbytery for approval.
